2018 Wrath Pinot Noir, San Saba Vinyard
Deep and dense, the 2018 San Saba Pinot Noir has aromas of spice box that join Gala apple peel and minerals on the nose. This rich Pinot Noir has layers of spice, blackberry fruit and cherry cola along with a pleasing earthiness and acidity that move effortlessly into a persistent spice/potpourri finish.

ABOUT THE WINERY
Wrath was started by Dr. Mark Lemmon over 45 years ago. Today the winery is owned by University of Texas at Dallas Archeologist Michael Thomas, and his mother Barbara Thomas Lemmon. The winery is located outside of Monterey, CA and is tucked up against the Santa Lucia Highlands benchland with Big Sur on the other side of the mountains. The winery produces site driven wines from their estate San Saba Vineyards and respected properties in the Santa Lucia Highlands. They use a sustainable farming program in the vineyards.
From Dallas, TX – The family was inspired to use the name ‘Wrath’ by a line in Led Zepplin’s “Going to California”.
