2012 Canard Duchene Cuvee V
Continuing with the Blanc de Noirs theme, we highlight Canard-Duchene's Cuvee V, a vintage brut nature created as a limited edition for the 150th anniversary in 2018. This blend consists of 75% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier sourced from 19 different Crus, undergoing stainless steel fermentation and full malolactic conversion. Aged for 120 months on the lees with zero dosage, it is classified as extra brut. Pale gold in color, the cuvée opens with a brioche aroma, subtly toasted, alongside ripe yellow fruit notes like mirabelle plum, evolving into elegant raspberry on aeration. A distinct minerality and salinity enhance its beautiful structure and freshness on the palate.
