2016 Château Haut Noughet Pessac-Léognan (Bordeaux)

Opens with aromas of ripe blackcurrant, cassis, blackberry, and
plum, layered with cedar, tobacco, and a touch of graphite and
spice. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and polished, with
supple red and black fruit, fine tannins, and fresh acidity that
keeps the wine focused and elegant. Hints of earth, smoke, and
a lightly mineral finish add depth, while the oak brings a
subtle frame of vanilla and toast.
