2018 Melka Estates 'Majestique'
The third vintage for a classic Rhone style blend from the Paderewski Vineyard in Paso Robles. The aromatics of strawberry, raspberry and current tea, layer with violet flowers and creaminess - an amazingly expressive wine. On the palate it is juicy, fresh and vibrant with tannins that demonstrate finesse and a slight spice. The finish is long and lingering - begging you to pour another glass.

Founded in 1996 with the drive to create wines that express the voice of the soil.
Four distinctly different labels have developed from this passion over the past 26 years.
The Paderewski Vineyard
In keeping with our alliterative naming profile, Majestique represents wines from around the the world that inspire us for their sense of site and soil. The vineyards that appear with this label are places that are simply – majestique. Topping that list is Saint Emilion, France for its old world charm. Le Chatelet Vineyard is planted to Cabernet Franc and Merlot on two different soil types. The rich limestone soils found in the Central Coast of California are the very ones that inspired the creation of the second Majestique wine, a distinctive Syrah from the Paderewski Vineyard.
