2019 ‘Marcenasco’ Barolo DOCG (Piedmont)

On the palate, it is expressive and well-structured, featuringflavors of ripe cranberry, blood orange, strawberry, dried cherry,and star anise, all supported by polished, chewy tannins andvibrant acidity that provide both depth and freshness. The wine’stexture is silky yet sturdy, with layers of oak, leather, and a touchof bitterness on the finish, as well as hints of almond and saline. Itis notable for its balance, finesse, and purity of tart red fruit.
