2021 Coqerel Petite Syrah

The 2021 Petite Sirah “Walnut Wash” has a nice dark inky and purple color. The nose has a note of raspberry with a hint of pepper. The palate is very dense with soft tannin and a long finish of red berries. It will pair perfectly with meat dishes, such as short ribs or ribeye with a raspberry demi-glaze. While this wine drinks beautifully now, it will continue to improve over the next decade.
